Ayesha Kamal’s Biography

Ayesha Kamal is a modern Islamic calligrapher based in Lahore, Pakistan. Her work is recognized for details and precise strokes. She has been painting for the past 10 years and has the ability to translate beauty and energy onto the canvas creating a whole domain of colours and textures.
 
Ayesha’s paintings are widely displayed, exhibited and appreciated all around the globe. She has been documented and interviewed at BBC Urdu and many other international channels. She has done many hospitals, banks, army and government projects as well.

2013 – Painting auctioned through Eye For Art America at Christie’s Auction, Dubai.

2014 – Featured in the Shades of Pakistan catalogue.

2021 – Participated in an international exhibition at Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore.

2022 – Presented artwork at Expo, Lahore.

2022 – Kollegium NEW exhibition at Orsha Gallery, Vitebsk, Europe.

“I try to emphasize the message of the Quran through my art. I believe that your soul connects to a mystery as soon as you observe a piece of calligraphy whether you can or cannot understand what’s written.”
